Data Migration Workbench

Introduction

The Data Migration Workbench is delivered with PeopleTools 8.53+ and lets you move structured data between enviornments. It is a tool for migrating configuration data and can also move transactional data between PeopleSoft databases.

The Data Migration Workbench (DMW) lets you use the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) to define Application Data Sets (ADS) and migrate data between environments. Administrators can define and migrate configuration with little developer support. ADS can also be inserted into change packages and migrated with Change Assistant.
